Yunseong Jin (Goyang City Hall) won the 1st Korean Weightlifting Federation President’s Cup in the men’s 109kg category, which also served as the Hangzhou Asian Games selection match.
Jin Yun-seong lifted 180kg of snatch, 218kg of jerk, and 398kg in total in the match held at Yongha Gymnasium in Yanggu-gun, Gangwon-do on the 3rd.
The second place in this weight class was Hwang In-chang (Army Sports Corps) with a total weight of 373 kg (173 kg lift, 200 kg jerk).
Yunseong Jin is aiming to participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games in the 102kg class, not the 109kg class.
He will also compete in the 102 kg class at the 2023 Jinju Asian Weightlifting Championships, which will open on May 3.
The Korea Weightlifting Federation selects 14 representatives (7 males and 7 females) to participate in the Asian Games in Hangzhou through this president’s cup and the Jinju Asian Championships.
Athletes participating only in the Jinju Asian Championships in May must lift a total of 3 kg or more more than the players in the president’s boat to get a ticket to the Asian Games.
Heejun Jeong (Goyang City Hall) won the championship with a total weight of 343kg (153kg lift, 190kg jerk) in the 102kg class of President’s Cup without Jin Yunseong.
Jin Yun-seong, who competed in the President’s Cup by lifting one weight class, must lift a total of 346 kg or more in the 102 kg class at the Jinju Asian Championships to secure the right to participate in the Hangzhou Asian Games. 메이저사이트
