Setter Kim Da-in (Hyundai E&C) and libero Shin Yeon-kyung (IBK) have been dropped from the roster for the second week of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023.
The Korea Volleyball Association (KVA) announced on Wednesday the names of the 14 players who will represent the Korean women’s national team in the second week of the VNL.
Setter Kim Ji-won (GS Caltex) and outside hitter Kim Da-eun (Heungkuk Life) were included in the roster, while Kim Dain and Shin Yeon-kyung were left out.메이저놀이터
Kim Dain is suffering from abdominal muscles and Shin is suffering from back pain and will not be able to play in the second week of the VNL in Brazil on Nov. 15.
South Korea lost all four matches in Week 1 in Antalya, Turkey, by a combined score of 0-3 in straight sets, and slipped to 15th place among the 16 nations competing in the VNL. They avoided the bottom spot on goal difference ahead of Croatia, who suffered shutout losses in all four games.
In Week 2, the team will face Brazil at 9 a.m. ET on June 15, Japan at 5:30 a.m. ET on June 16, Croatia at 5:30 a.m. ET on June 17, and Germany at 5:30 a.m. ET on June 19.
Week 3 matches will be held in Suwon, South Korea, beginning June 27.
