Basketball stars have given warm advice to the budding buds.
From May 19th to 21st, ‘UA NEXT: CAMP’ SERIES KOREA’ held by global sports brand Under Armor was held at All That Basket in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
‘UP NEXT: CAMP SERIES KOREA’ selects 30 elite basketball players from 1st grade and 3rd grade of middle school nationwide and provides a variety of training programs that can improve the performance of players, from basketball skill and strategic training to mental training, conditioning and diet management methods. It is a camp that helps players grow by providing programs. The 30 participants in the camp were selected on the recommendation of some KBL club scouts and high school and middle school coaches.
A large camp for promising players, which is rare in Korea. The faces of the judges who were invited to the camp were also very glamorous. Stars who are active in men’s and women’s basketball, such as Yang Hee-jong, Oh Se-geun, Yang Hong-seok, Lee Woo-seok, Park Ji-hyeon, Lee So-hee, and Huh Ye-eun, participated in the event and met the players. Members Kyu-seop Lee and Young-sam Jung, who are showing off their presence as commentators at SPOTV, also appeared.
Stars who stepped on the pro stage before the camp prospects expressed their surprise at the high-level skills of the young players. At the same time, he spared no advice on what to focus on in order for the players to grow in the future.

Commentator Lee Kyu-seop (SPOTV) : Under Armor held a very large event for the players. I believe that it can be a great motivation for children and help them develop basketball skills. It’s a good memory for me too, and I’ve been to many camps abroad, but it’s an opportunity that doesn’t fall behind. Since we are still an elite sport, if there are more camps or opportunities like this, and coaches are well invited, it will have a great positive impact on the development of basketball and the brand image of Under Armor.
Yang Hee-jong (former KGC) : It’s been a while since I’ve seen elite players, and they’re amazing in terms of skills. There are a lot of outstanding players, so there are a lot of expectations. I hope young players who will lead Korean basketball can grow without injury. Basketball is a sport where you can acquire skills through repetitive training, so this time will be boring and difficult, but I hope that training will be used as a foundation to grow without injury so that you can play a good role as a professional player.
Oh Se-geun (SK) : Watching the young players play reminds me of the old days, and I enjoy watching the good players stand out. If you don’t get hurt and work hard to improve your skills, you will be able to become a good player. I hope you don’t be arrogant and work hard.
Yang Hong-seok (LG): I think of the past a lot and there are many players who are very talented. I wish we could play together at KBL. Each has its strengths, but it also seems to have its weaknesses. If you make up for those shortcomings, you will be able to become a better player.
Lee Woo-seok (Hyundai Mobis) : I am currently scoring as a judge, but it is not easy to adapt. I’ve always been in a position where I was evaluated, but now that it’s changed, I can’t adapt and it’s a new experience to work on seriously. I wish I could play basketball without regrets. If I do my best without leaving any regrets later, I wonder if another good opportunity will come in the future.스포츠토토
Park Ji-hyeon (Woori Bank) : Thank you for inviting me to such a good event. This is the first time this kind of event has been held, and it is also the first time to judge. I thought a lot about what to do, but since I worked hard and played the game passionately, I thought I should work more passionately. Just watching basketball, I can see some outstanding players and there are many players who work hard, so I enjoy watching it. It seems like I have a lot of confident friends. I hope my friends will carry this confidence to the end even if they go pro.
Lee So-hee (BNK) : I am very happy that this is my first time attending a brand event like this. It was burdensome to come as a judge, but I was happy to see so many friends who are good at basketball. I’m doing well enough right now, so don’t get hurt and if you work hard, there’s a chance, so I hope you keep doing it like this.
Huh Ye-eun (KB): Thank you so much for inviting me. There are a lot of friends I don’t know, but everyone is really good at it, so I’m having fun watching it. I think it’s cool to say that it’s advice, but it’s bloody and this kind of competitive spirit. I wish you all the best in growing like this in the future.
