The men’s national team, which had not achieved significant results in international competitions over the past few years, held the FIVB Challenger tournament in Seoul last year, but unfortunately failed to win the VNL berth as they lost 0-3 in the semifinal against Turkiye.

However, as the skills of Southeast Asian countries such as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, which have excellent physique conditions, and Thailand and Indonesia, which show off fast and organized volleyball, are also rapidly growing, Korea needs to prepare thoroughly.
